    The DALI Alliance requires certification test results to be generated using ProbitLab2 and the official DALI Alliance test sequences before a product can be submitted for DALI-2 or D4i certification. First-time failures are common, interpretation of edge cases, timing, error handling, and each retest costs weeks. We make sure that doesn't happen to you.

    2. Test

    Run the applicable official DALI Alliance test sequences with ProbitLab2 and ProbitBench, based on the relevant IEC 62386 and DALI Alliance specifications.

    3. Fix & deliver

    We resolve the issues we find and hand over a clean, vendor-neutral test protocol you can submit to the DALI Alliance.

    Certification test results must be generated with ProbitLab2 and the official DALI Alliance test sequences. ProbitLab2 is the only DiiA-approved hardware platform for running the IEC 62386 approbation and certification test procedures, and we develop it ourselves.

    No. You can either run the test suite in-house on your own ProbitLab2 or have us execute the complete IEC 62386 test protocol for you as a certification service. Manufacturers who certify regularly usually buy a ProbitLab2, occasional applicants use our lab.

    We scope the applicable IEC 62386 parts for your device, run a pre-compliance test round to catch failures early, execute the official test sequences on ProbitLab2, and hand over the complete test protocol you submit to the DALI Alliance for the DALI-2 or D4i listing.

    Most first-time failures come from timing violations, incorrect error handling, and edge cases in the command set rather than from the core functionality. A pre-compliance round on ProbitLab2 exposes these issues before the official test run, which avoids retest cycles that cost weeks.
