2. Collection of general information

When you access our website, general information is automatically collected (server log files). This information includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address and similar data. It is evaluated to ensure trouble-free operation and to improve our services. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

3. Web analytics with Umami

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly web analytics service operated by Umami Software, Inc. (cloud.umami.is), to understand how visitors use our website. Umami is configured to operate without cookies and does not store any personal identifiers. Your IP address is anonymised before processing, and no tracking cookies or device fingerprints are used.

The data collected is limited to anonymous usage metrics (e.g. page views, referrer domains, browser type and country/region derived from the anonymised IP) and is stored on Umami's servers. Because no personal data is collected and no cookies are placed, no cookie consent is required for this processing. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing and improving our online offering). You can object to this processing at any time by enabling the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser.

4. Contacting us

When you contact us (e.g. by email or via a contact form), the information you provide is stored to process your request and in case follow-up questions arise. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (initiation of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding).

5. Cookies and consent-free design

Our website uses no marketing or advertising cookies. We do load the privacy-friendly analytics service Umami (see section 3), which operates without cookies and without storing personal identifiers. Because no consent-requiring tracking technologies are used, no cookie consent banner is required or shown.

The only local storage we use is for remembering your own cookie preference settings on the Cookie Settings page. This is covered by Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR / § 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG.

6. Appointment booking via Calendly

For online appointment scheduling we use the service Calendly (Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA). When you use it, the data you enter is transmitted to Calendly. Calendly is loaded only when you actively open the booking interface. Further information can be found in the Calendly privacy policy. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

7. Hosting

Our website is hosted by an external service provider. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. The host is engaged for the purpose of fulfilling our contracts with customers and prospects (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectify (Art. 16 GDPR), erase (Art. 17 GDPR), restrict the processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR) to the processing of your personal data. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
